Who Has Opinions?

Who Has Opinions?

Who does have opinions?  Well, everyone I guess.  At least all you have to do is ask someone what they think about such and such and they'll give you their take on such and such.  Some people misinterpret their opinions to be fact.  Actually, that's probably a common occurrence.  Opinions, assumptions, beliefs, are readily stated as facts.  Facts seem "obvious" to those who "see" clearly.  Race, ability, sex, quality, intelligence, God, God's will, God's image, God's law.  History is full of facts, written mostly by the victorious and those in power.  Teach your children well.  Thank you Crosby, Stills & Nash.  Experts suddenly appear when there's a high-profile celebrity trial or a natural disaster or a political disaster.  Experts, you see, have opinions of a higher level than the rest of us.

In any case, opinions are.  And, opinions become fact.  Beliefs, opinions and assumptions create personal and collective reality in the material world.  So, I have opinions and observations and a point of view.  This forum gives me the vehicle to elaborate, pontificate, irritate, and initiate some thoughts and possibilities.  I have no expectations and no plan.  I have started.  Maybe I'll get somewhere.
